Foreigners Club (formerly known as Casa New Yorker Hotel) is a 10-room bed and breakfast hotel offering elegance and comfort in an Art Deco style. We opened our doors to guests in early April 21, 2008.

Located in the capital city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is an exciting mix of tropical pleasures, a throbbing night life and historic treasures. Foreigner's Club Hotel is nestled in the Colonial Zone, first discovered in the early 1600's, it is the oldest city in the Americas. A 4 block walk from our front door in one direction takes you to the Malecon which is the road that runs along the Caribbean sea. Walking the other direction will take you to Parque Independencia and the entrance to Calle el Conde, the road that runs through the center of the old city. Here you will have access to all types of restaurants, gift shops, and all the history in this the city of firsts.

Foreigner's Club Hotel is the perfect spot for an extended vacation or a weekend get away. Let the sun and sand life your spirits and the warmth of a Dominican smile warm your heart

In the heart of the tourist sector in Ciudad Nueva and Zona Colonial, we have created a little bit of South Beach!!

The proprietors of Foreigner's Club Hotel are Dorothy Simms, Doran Mooney and Daniel P. Ziebarth. They are from different parts of the United States of America and were tired of the rat race they found themselves in. They wanted a change of pace.

They had been thinking about ways to make people happy and enjoy life and they come up with the idea of Foreigner's Club . “Corporate life, was stressful and incomplete. We wanted a life filled with adventure and challenge. We now have that and in the Caribbean no less.”

Daniel P. Ziebarth, who has a public relationship and marketing background saw a wonderful opportunity. “Promoting a small business is hard work, but I face it with a smile and doing it in paradise makes it a lot easier. Santo Domingo has a throbbing nightlife, wonderful restaurants, and a cultural scene that is second to none.”
